Hello there! I’m Jeanie. After working in academia and non-profit organizations for many years, I am returning to my first love of organic gardening! I have training in landscape ecology and site analysis, native plant selection, design and propagation, and ecological restoration.

Why Dragonfly? When I first moved to Milford, I was delighted with the number of dragonflies that inhabited the area, whizzing and whirring around the gardens, as they caught mosquitos and other insects. Dragonflies are also an indicator species for a healthy ecosystem in places near water sources, which they need access to for reproduction.

I am also an avid forager of mushrooms and plants for medicinal and edible purposes. Shown here are delicious local chanterelles. Get in touch to book an educational hike! I welcome trades/barters for this experience.
